Sunset Point is a very peaceful tourist spot in Mount Abu. It is located in the south-west corner of the Nakki Lake and famous for the soothing atmosphere. After an exhausting journey, this place gives you peace and that is why the Sunset Point is so much popular among the tourists.
Hundreds of people swarm this area in the evening amidst a carnival atmosphere. Food stalls, souvenir shops abounds the area. The scenic hills, tranquil surrounding, and the pleasant climate makes it a favorite spot of the tourists. The Honeymoon Point located close by is another attraction of Mount Abu. Sunset Point is a good place to pick up trinkets and knick knacks. Carved marble statues, sandalwood idols, wooden toys and the likes can be seen all over the spot. Food stalls are a regular here.
Pony rides are a favorite with toddlers. Baylay's Walk, another Viewer's spot lies just 5 kilometers from Sunset Point. Sun Set can also be seen from the Guru Shikhar - the highest point at Mount Abu. From this place, thousands of feet down in the plains the charming sight of distant places, villages and beutiful green valleys represents very attractive atmosphere.

The nearest airport to Mount Abu is Maharana Pratap Udaipur Airport, Dabok (Udaipur) 207-km. One can hire a taxi to get to Mount Abu.
The nearest railway station is Abu Road (29-km) situated on Mumbai-Ahmedabad -Ajmer-Jaipur-Delhi route. From Abu Road one can take a taxi, jeep or bus
Ahmedabad is 222-km via Palanpur. Jodhpur is 235-km via Sirohi and Pali. Udaipur is 156-km via Pindwara. (Journey on this route is advisable only during the day). Jaipur is 509-km via Pali-Ajmer. It is connected to all the major towns in northern and western India.
