Pelling is a small but beautiful town in Sikkim.It is a favorite of alpine vegetation and numerous waterfalls. No wonder waterfalls and alpine vegetation are found there in abundance. Location Of Pelling :-The town of Pelling is in the north eastern state of Sikkim. Pelling is in the district of West Sikkim. It is located at an altitude of 7200 feet or 2150 mts. the district headquarters of Geyzing are at a distance of 10 kms.
Best Time To Visit Pelling:-Ideal time to visit Pelling is from the month of February to that of May and from the month of September to that of December. During winters sometimes Pelling is completely snow clad so ample warm clothes should be carried while going to Pelling in winters.
Climate :If the weather is clear five peaks of Kanchenjunga can be seen from the former helipad. Winters here are cold but at the same time very enjoyable if you have adequate woolens.
