Khajuraho is the place that is situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh in the district of Chattarpura.The Khajuraho Temples have been listed in the World Heritage Sites and is also considered in the Seven Wonders of the World.It is also the most popular tourist destination of the country.The place is rich at the cultural heritage and the fascinating ambiance of the place. It is the most popular and the attractive tourist destination of the country.Khajuraho Temples was built in between 950 and 1050 AD during the reign of Chandel empire. The temples are built up by the sandstone in various shades like pink or pale yellow and it also built for the different sects like Shiva Vaishnava or Jain Sects. The interior of the of the temple are beautiful and is inter-connected and is placed with the East and West line. The ceilings in the interior is carved well with the floral and geometrical designs which is made lavishly.

How to Reach Khajuraho by Rail
Khajuraho does not have a railway station of its own. The most convenient railhead is Jhansi and Satna on the Mumbai Allahabad railway link. Jhansi is 175kms away from Khajuraho whereas distance from Satna is 120kms. Many important trains service both the railway stations regularly.
