Kalavantin Durg is adjacent to Prabalgad fort. On the Mumbai Pune express highway one can take the Shedung exit. Shedung is the base village of Prabal and Kalavantin forts. The trek is a 3 hours climb from here. You need to trek up the machi and from the village on machi there are rock cut steps which lead us to the top of the fort.There is a dense forest on the way.

Ways to reach :
Pune to Shendung Phata on Panvel highway.
Shendung Phata to Thakurwadi via Belavali (15 kms)
From Thakurwadi you can proceed to Kalavantin durga.
