Jung Falls besides being a source of enchanting natural beauty also are the main reservoir for the generation of hydro electricity which provides energy to villages located in the periphery of 200 odd kms. The vehicle can be parked at the hydro power station base and then a trek of around 200 meters will take you down to the base of these falls , the banks of the tawang chu river. The beautiful green mountain valleys surrounding this fall adds to its ethereal beauty. You can even view the tip of glacier from this fall.

The Jung Falls is located about 35 kilometres from the centre of Tawang city and about 3 kilometres from the town of Jung. Jung is the valley that lies between Sela and Tawang.
