Biarritz Beach - France

Biarritz Beach - France - BindaasTravel.com

In 1854, the wife of Napoleon III, Empress Eugenia, built a palace on the shores of Biarritz in southern France, almost instantly transforming the region from a port town into a holiday resort worth of royal attention. Today, Biarritz Bay remains a pride for Côte Basque region, each year attracting surfers and beach lovers. For romantics, cliff walks near the Queen Eugenia Hotel du Palais, can become an exciting venture. Magnificent location, beautiful sandy beaches and mild climate facilitated the development of the former fishing villages. In the 18th century, it was these reasons why the Empress Eugenia built a palace there for herself and her court.

The beaches of this resort are among the busiest beaches on the coast of France. Surfers can go on the Cote des Basques beach, where every year, in July, one of the largest surfing festivals in the world takes place. Besides beaches, Biarritz offers visitors spectacular buildings, interesting museums and some relaxation and beauty centers. Modern Biarritz is stylish, attracting more with its discreet line. Gabled houses stand near Basque fanciful mock 19th-century art deco villas and Chateaux. Without doubt, you will feel the Biarritz hospitality. Biarritz Beach on the Cote Basque has a distinct retro charm that will surely make you fall in love with it and, of course, with your partner.
