Amber Fort in Jaipur
The Amber Fort is located in Rajasthan which is 11 kilometers from Jaipur and it is a very popular tourist attraction. The things that make it glorious are the beautiful carvings and the Hall of Mirrors. The best time to visit is from October to March. The only way to reach the place is by a cab preferably to the bottom of the hill. You can be taken there on the back of elephants but if you don't like it you can walk the way.
The most exquisite creation in the Amber Fort is the Sheesh Mahal which literally translated means the Palace of Mirrors. This is a big hall which is filled all over with thousands of tiny mirrors; the Sheesh Mahal never fails to amuse those who look upon it. It is said that during the days of yore, a single tiny candle can illuminate the whole hall. The tiny and intricate mirrors have been preserved up to now and they look as great as they did back then. A visit to the Amber Fort is absolutely essential if you want to see real untouched beauty that will blow your mind away. The Amber fort in Jaipur is a good classic example of the Architectural style of the Rajputs.
The Amber Fort is a structure that has massive gardens along with elaborately built gateways, beautiful palaces, pavilions, temples, and many more. The interiors are beautifully decorated with exquisite carvings and mirrors. The fort is also famous for structures such as: Diwan-E-Aam (which is a public hall), Sukh Niwas, the Kali Temple and the Shila Mata Temple. Here you can also find a garden that is perfectly manicured.
